Be Reassured: Security in Israel

You can travel to Israel with us feeling safe and secure. Since October 7, 2023, the conflict in Israel has concerned, even warded off would-be travelers. Now, with the ceasefire in place, notwithstanding appearances that at times the ceasefire is complicated and seemingly fragile, tourism to Israel is beginning to show signs of a full recovery. Companies and professional guides engaged in travel and tourism in Israel have several safety protocols in place to provide for the security of travelers.

Pack Well

Where possible, we stay in one, beautiful base location for as long as possible on a journey. We seek to minimize hotel changes to actively avoid the need for fellow travelers to pack and unpack almost every morning and evening. Nevertheless, we acknowledge that changing hotels at least once or even twice during a journey may be necessary. To pack well benefits fellow travelers and requires a bit of planning and organization like making a list and using packing cubes.

Beat Jet Lag (to the extent possible)

Allowing your body to adjust to a new time zone, in addition to sitting for a very long period (aka jet lag), can produce a sense of being tired over several days to the point of negatively impacting your travel experience. There are some steps you can take to minimize jet lag like sleeping as much as possible on your flight over and staying awake until your normal bedtime back home when you arrive. Stay awake on your way home.
