We consider all of our group travel experiences to be purposeful journeys. Despite the inherent diversity in the types of groups and organizations we serve, nonprofits share attributes common enough to categorize those attributes as journey types. One of those journey types or categories is education travel. Education travel curates cultural, historical, and intellectual experiences for higher education student fellow travelers to broaden perspectives, deepen appreciation of others, and expand knowledge of the world.

The life experience of college and university students varies widely. Some students grew up well traveled. Other students have never ventured far from where they grew up. An education travel experience offers the potential to benefit all students regardless of their family history by exposing them to ideas, peoples, and cultures in ways that can be transformative.
An education journey augments the traditional classroom experience. Whether an education journey focuses on STEM or the humanities, the context of a real-world environment provides fertile ground for the personal and intellectual development of students.
