Please complete the form below. We are delighted you are taking the step of submitting your application to become a member of a journey with us. We look forward to notifying you of your acceptance as a fellow traveler.

You will be prompted to submit a payment deposit with your application once your form is complete with all required fields. The total cost of your journey will vary by departure date and destination. All journeys include overnight accommodations, breakfast most mornings, additional meals such as dinner, transportation as communicated and described and museum/tour admissions fees; all as specified in the final itinerary. Your journey does not include anything not specified in the final itinerary. This application to become a member of a journey requires a deposit. Once you receive notification that you have been accepted as a member of a journey, your deposit becomes nonrefundable. Upon notification your application has been approved, you will receive detailed information to help you settle the balance of the cost of your journey by check, credit card, or PayPal. Please read and accept the General Terms and Conditions statement before submitting your application.

  • Health, Mobility and Dietary Concerns Your trip will be active and the days very full. On most days, we may walk one to two miles; often on cobblestone or uneven surfaces constructed several centuries ago. We may ascend and descend stairs. Please indicate any issues of mobility or need of assistance in mobility. We can very often successfully address food allergies or dietary issues with kitchen staff(s); Please describe any health issues of which we should be aware that would either prohibit you from full participation in the trip or those that should be addressed to hotel and restaurant staff
    Please rate your knowledge of the history, culture, or local customs of the places we will visit: One way we will do our best to tailor your experience of your journey will be according to the level of knowledge and intellectual interest of you and your fellow travelers. We understand that some travelers may not be familiar with, for instance, the history, culture, or local customs of the places we will visit, while other travelers are lifelong students of history. We care very much about your experience. All levels of knowledge are welcome!

    Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC acts only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provide hotel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, activities, or other services connected with this journey. Such services are subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers. Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC and their respective employees, agents, representatives, and assigns accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or any other incident which may be caused by the negligence, defect, default of any company or person in performing these services. Responsibility is not accepted for losses, injury, damages or expenses of any kind due to sickness, weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature, local laws or other such causes. All services and accommodations are subject to the laws and regulations of the country in which they are provided. Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC is not responsible for any baggage or personal effects of any individual participating in the journeys arranged by Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC. Individual travelers are responsible for purchasing a travel insurance policy, if desired, that will cover some of the expenses associated with the loss of luggage or personal effects.

    This application to travel serves as my acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions under which this journey is offered. A non-refundable deposit will hold my reservation upon acceptance of my application. My journey will include overnight accommodations, meals, ground transportation, and all specified museum/tour admission as indicated in the final trip itinerary. Single room reservations will likely require a single supplement. All remaining payments, less the application deposit as submitted with the application, must be paid by check, credit card, or PayPal according to the Remittance Schedule and Payment options published and communicated to journey participants. This journey may have a minimum number of fellow travelers to deemed viable. Should the journey have less the number of participants required for the journey to be viable, Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC reserves the right to cancel the trip with notice provided and a full refund of payments including deposits.

    Remittance Schedule and Payment Options

    Once your application has been approved, you will receive login credentials for a password protected page created for members of your particular journey. On your member page, you will find links to helpful information, including a link to the Remittance Schedule and Payment options page. On that page you will find helpful information about how to pay for your trip as well as the option to set up recurring payments or make single payments if you should need to do so for something special.

    Cancellation

    Fellow travelers are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance. Travel insurance protects fellow travelers and Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC from loss due to unforeseen circumstances covered by the travel insurance policy. Also available are enhanced travel insurance policies and cancel for any reason travel insurance policies which offer protection to travelers who anticipate the possibility of canceling their journey. Cash refunds are only issued travelers who cancel their journey with rare exception and at the sole discretion of Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC. For written cancellations received by Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC on or before 120 days prior to departure, refunds may be made less a $300 per person cancellation fee. Written cancellations received by Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC 91 to 119 days prior to departure, are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total trip cost. From 61 to 90 days prior to departure, written cancellations received by Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC are subject to a cancellation fee of 75% of the total price of the trip per person. From 60 days up to and including the date of departure, written cancellations are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC reserves the right to cancel your trip reservation and retain the deposit if final payment is not received by the due date. Airline tickets are not refundable once your flight has been ticketed. No refunds will be given for any unused services while on the trip. All refunds will be issued at the conclusion of the journey.

    Pictures and Video

    Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC may take pictures and video during the journey. At the conclusion of the journey, fellow travelers may have the opportunity to share pictures and videos with Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC and with their fellow travelers. By registering for this trip, you grant Malone Clan Expeditions, LLC permission to use your image and comments in educational, informational, and promotional materials in a variety of media, including electronic and social media.
